I just saw Jerry Raye, a/k/a Cal Raye, in Rhode Island a couple of years ago at the Pete Anders 50th anniversary in the music business concert in Cranston. He's still out there singing. He had a local hit with a version (released four times, twice on Coquette then on De Ville then on Providence) of the old Manhattan Brothers' 1951 hit "Lovely Lies."
